This trend can be seen locally with the increase in the number of computer games retailers such as Game, GameStop and Smiths Toys.

squareyes is a new and very different environment - we offer you the choice to come to us to play games...

In our 2000sqft (200msq) facility we have 50 seats each facing a state-of-the-art high-performance and purpose built games computer with a large format High Definition screen. At each seat you can easily choose from a wide variety of game types that includes shooters, real time strategy, role-playing, and massive multiplayer online games.(Don't worry! If you don't know what these terms are, we'll help you out). There are "games for everyone" at squareyes, from 8 years of age to 88 and beyond.

As a result of having such a wide variety of games and having such a broad customer base we enforce PEGI age ratings on each of the computer systems. This means that minors are not exposed to games that are unsuitable for their particular age group giving parents/guardians greater peace of mind at squareyes. We also operate a discrete anti-truancy policy which prevents minors from utilising the facilities during school hours and our premises is fully monitored by a state-of-the-art CCTV system.

squareyes is more than just a computer games facility. Our in-house cafe serves the highest quality speciality coffees (Java Republic), teas, minerals, fruits, sandwiches and treats. It is an ideal venue for parties, a night out with friends, corporate entertainment or just to get away from the hussle and bussle of everyday life.
